About our school

Ohio grades every school on an annual state report card. Over the last two years, Innovative Career Academy posted a nearly 70 percent increase in its Performance Index score. The 2024-25 PI score of 59.9 reflects real movement, and the state's own data backs it up.
If your teenager needs a way back in, this school is built for that. Credit recovery isn't a consolation path. It's the actual work of meeting a teenager exactly where they are and building from there. Students who've fallen behind on credits don't start over from scratch here. They get a clear path forward, paced to their situation, with teachers who understand that getting back on track is hard work in itself. That's not an add-on. That's the whole model.
That's the foundation here: personalized support, real career pathways, and an academic structure built around where each student actually is — not where a standard sequence expects them to be.
There's no tuition, no fees, and no cost to your family. The school also provides:
- Free breakfast and lunch every day
- Free transportation to and from school
The school is located at 3845 E 131st St, Cleveland, OH 44120. Call (216) 259-9009.
Community School
Community Schools (Charter Schools) offer families an alternative to the local public school. Community schools are tuition-free, open to all students in the county, and focused on meeting student needs for success. Community schools are among the top-performing schools in the nation.
